I WILL MISS YOU......

This poem is dedicated to my PARENTS.....but those who have someone very close to their heart, would be able to relate this poem to them....hope you like it...

Distances ahead, the pain of separation,
I'm not ready to be in aloof ed condition.
I thought I was strong, I'll manage through,
but in my heart I know, I will miss you.....

It's years we're together through all toughs and odds,
with you being my strength and my reason not to sob.
Who'll wipe my tears now as you used to do,
in my heart I know, I will miss you....

You made me take the first step of my life,
you taught me to walk, to run and to strive.
Now my steps are moving away from you,
in my heart I know, I will miss you.....

I shared with you all things in my heart,
my best friend were you and my sweetheart.
I want forever to share things false and true,
in my hearth I know, I will miss you.....

With you being around, I felt a hand over me,
a soothing lap and two arms of security.
I'll miss those arms covering me hitherto,
in my heart I know, I will miss you......

No wind no tide could ever blow me away,
and even of they did, I had you with me to stay.
I want you to be with me through all my blues,
in my heart I know, I will miss you.......

The things are too obvious and too small to say,
but I take a chance here to open myself away.
You rocked my life so far and will continue to do,
in my heart I know, I will miss you.

    Really nice dear... It's soooo nice.... I wish I could copy it down and read to my folks n take the credit but it's so heart touching,that I could neither cheat my folks nor this poem after reading this....

LOST........

This new poem of mine depicts the disappointment that gets associated with the failures in life.... My life is completely lost around me, is mist and frost. The life which once was bright is now just pale and white. Some challenges that I had to meet, some promises I needed to keep are now seeming too far away cos its my luck that has to play. I had to keep a promise I made to my mother as I once said, "Mom you'll one day be proud of me" that pride in her eyes is all I wanted to see. Where CRY means smiles :)

It was the end of November and it was ‘that time’ of the year. Every year I would save up all my holidays for my annual visit to my home country, India. As expected, I had a full agenda during my visit. Meet all the relatives, eat street food everyday, attend a friend’s wedding and do lots of shopping, the regular roster. This year however, I had another item in my to-do list. Ever since I started working for CRY in Seattle and learnt that they have a project in my home state Chhattisgarh, I had made up my mind to visit the project, the next time I went to India and now was the time. I was really looking forward to the visit!
