ADIEU

I had never thought, it would turn this way;

with you walking off, and I in dismay.

my heart broke down, ears refused to believe;

those few words, that you had said to me.

There was once time, when we co-existed;

Siblings, more than friends, people interpreted.

Your voice was enough to ring my bell;

And worries fading away, like a magic spell.

I knew you well and you understood me.

We were together, whatever matter it would be.

Those days were the best, greener than ever;

I wish those days, would have lasted forever.

Now time has passed and things around have changed;

with you ignoring me, and I doing the same

Don't know who is wrong and who stands correct;

But in this world, I think, no one is perfect.

I was wrong, I know and I do accept;

perhaps you were too sometimes, if you look back.

but never had our fights turned, as it did today;

For what you said to me, I never had thought you'd say.

You've got your world now and people to move along;

but I am still the same, standing all alone.

I still need you, to share my agony;

and to laugh with you, when I am happy.

You don't need me anymore, this I have realized,

so bothering you now, I don't think would be wise.

Though, away from you, I,certainly would perish;

but you stay happy, is all that I wish.

A few words I have, before I move away;

Perhaps I wasn't all bad, till the date today.

Keeping in mind, all the good times we shared;

Please don't hate me, cos that's the only thing I feared.

You were, you are and you'll be, forever in my heart;

as a person I love most and as my integral part.

Hope, you feel my absence, when I am not there;

Love you always, and with this note, I close here.
